IPC WSFU Table (Table E102.3)

Complete IPC Water Supply Fixture Unit values from Table E102.3(2) for all standard fixture types.

Introduction

The IPC Table E102.3(2) defines Water Supply Fixture Units (WSFU) for every fixture type, separated by cold and hot water, occupancy (private vs public), and supply control type (flush tank vs flushometer). These values are the foundation of IPC pipe sizing.

Notes

  • WSFU values represent the hydraulic load imposed by each fixture on the water supply system.
  • Cold and hot WSFU are tracked separately for independent cold and hot water pipe sizing.
  • Flushometer valve fixtures have higher WSFU in public occupancies due to higher flow rates.
  • Custom fixtures can be entered with user-specified WSFU or direct flow rates.
