Pipe Material Specifications

Complete pipe dimension tables for all materials supported by Plumbing Booster.

Introduction

Accurate pipe dimensions are essential for hydraulic calculations. Plumbing Booster uses real inner diameters (not nominal sizes) for velocity and friction calculations. These tables show the specifications for each supported material.

1-1/41.3750.1930.989
1-1/21.6250.2281.169
22.1250.2981.529

Notes

  • PPR ID = OD x (1 - 2/SDR). For SDR 11: ID = OD x 0.818.
  • Copper Type L has thinner walls than Type K but thicker than Type M.
  • PEX uses CTS (Copper Tube Size) outer diameters for compatibility with copper fittings.
  • Plumbing Booster automatically uses the correct ID based on selected material and series.
